Your business doesn't need to look like everyone else's.
And neither should your social media.
At The Social Maverick, we get to know your business before we ever decide what you should post.
The people. The customers. The personality. The things you do differently. Even the quirks that probably don't seem interesting to you anymore.
That's usually where the good stuff is.
We're not trying to make your business fit social media. We're making social media fit your business.
You didn't start your business to become a content creator.
And you shouldn't have to spend your evenings wondering what you're going to post tomorrow.
You have a business to run.
Our job is to come in, get to know what you do, figure out what people need to see from you, create the content, and help you show up consistently.
Not just to post for the sake of posting.
And definitely not to make you dance in front of a camera because Instagram said so.
Unless that's your thing. Then we'll probably make a Reel out of it.
What does working together actually look like?
It starts with a conversation.
What's working? What's not? Who are your customers? What do you wish more people knew about your business?
Then we build from there.
That might mean we're at your business creating photos and videos. It might mean Reels, graphics, storytelling, community engagement, or managing your social media from beginning to end.
Usually, it's a mix.
Because your business isn't exactly like anyone else's, your social media plan shouldn't be either.
Hi, I’m Rachel
I've had a camera in my hand professionally since 2011, and I've been building businesses for almost as long.
I've also been the person trying to run the business, take care of clients, raise kids, answer emails, remember what's for dinner—and somehow find something interesting to post on Instagram.
I get it.
The Social Maverick came from years of photography, content creation, entrepreneurship, leadership, and working alongside other business owners.
But more than anything, it came from realizing that some of the best businesses I knew weren't showing up online the way they showed up in real life.
They were funny. Welcoming. Talented. A little weird. Really freaking good at what they did.
Their social media just wasn't showing it.
That's what I wanted to change.
The stuff you think is boring?
I probably want to film it.
The way you make something.
The story behind a product.
The employee everyone knows by name.
The customer who's been coming in for ten years.
The mess behind the scenes before everything comes together.
The little thing you do differently that you've stopped noticing because you do it every day.
That's your business.
And that's what people connect with.
What I'm Most Proud Of
It's not a Reel getting a bunch of views.
Don't get me wrong—we love when that happens.
But my favorite part is watching a business owner start to see what I saw in them from the beginning.
They stop worrying so much about what they're "supposed" to post.
They get more comfortable in front of the camera.
They start throwing out ideas.
They start having fun with it.
And eventually their social media starts feeling a whole lot more like them.
That's the goal.
Let's show people what makes your business worth knowing.
You don't need to come to us with a content plan.
You don't even need to know what you need.
Tell us about your business.
We'll start there.
